An exciting sporting weekend is ahead of us, from the World Athletics Championships climax to the Rugby World Cup preparations from the Springboks, making for a thrilling spectacle you won’t want to miss.

World Athletics Championships pursuit

The World Athletics Championships are reaching their climax, with many talented Africans ready to compete for gold.

Today will bring excitement as Marie-Josée Ta Lou and Letsile Tebogo compete in the Women’s 200m final and the Men’s 200m final, respectively, while Jeannie van Dyk grabs the attention of Pole vaulting fans.

Springbok preparation

Later today, the Springboks head to the iconic Twickenham stadium, preparing to take on the All-Blacks in their final game before the Rugby World Cup. It is a critical game for the South Africans, as they will prepare to cement their confidence as they look ahead to the coveted Webb Ellis Cup.

FIBA Basketball World Cup excitment

The FIBA Basketball World Cup starts today, with Cape Verde, Angola, Egypt, Ivory Coast, and South Sudan leading the African charge toward the coveted title.
