The stage is set for intense battles and remarkable performances as teams compete at the highest level.
In anticipation of the event, Shaune Baaitjies, Interim CEO of South African Hockey, expressed the significance of SPAR and TOPS at SPAR support towards the tournament, stating, “The commitment and support from SPAR and tops are invaluable in nurturing the growth of indoor hockey in our nation. Their dedication to the sport enables us to showcase top-tier talent and foster a culture of excellence within our hockey community.”
“The SPAR Group is delighted to award the best provincial indoor hockey teams an opportunity to compete against each other for national honours. Working together with TOPS at SPAR which focusses on men’s hockey, and through our sponsorship efforts with other partners we hope to promote Indoor Hockey to even greater heights and create opportunities for the up-and-coming players who strive to play for their provinces and country” said Mpudi Maubane, SPAR National PR, Communications & Sponsorships Manager.
