I am an under 23 professional cyclist, riding for the UCI-registered ProTouch Continental Team.

I am a climbing and time trial specialist and joined the number one-ranked team in Africa, last year in August when I became a Stagiaire and participated in two consecutive Tours towards the end of 2020.

HERE IS MY STORY – I was born in Berkshire in the United Kingdom in 2000.

I moved to South Africa in 2006. I was introduced to cycling by my dad and I took part in various MTB events. I took part in my first road race in 2015 and realized my passion for the sport.

I was very privileged to experience racing in Belgium in my two junior years and again as a first year u23, before joining ProTouch Continental Team in August 2019. I truly believe the criterium style of racing (although not my preference) opened my eyes tactically and the knowledge I gained was immense.

I’m really looking forward to continuing with the 2020 season after a promising start and a UCI 2.1 [Tour de Taiwan] under my belt. I look forward to working hard for my Team and grabbing any opportunity that comes my way.

ProTouch has really gone above and beyond to #InvestInTheDream and #SupportSATalent, by enabling athletes like me to perform on the World Stage. A pro cyclist’s dream is to one day be spotted by a Pro Continental or World Tour Team, hopefully with hard work, dedication and the opportunities that ProTouch is providing me, I will fulfil that dream.

• SA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS –UCI N.C – RR – 9th Place U23; ITT – 6th Place U23; Part of the team that took Bronze in Elite Men Road Race.
• GAUTENG PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS – U23 RR -1st Place – Winner; U23 TT – 3rd Place

• TOUR DE TAIWAN – UCI 2.1 – Part of the team that took; Stage 1 –5th & 12th Place; Stage 2 – 14th Place
