2024 Tour du Rwanda
The Tour du Rwanda is in full swing, captivating audiences worldwide as cyclists and their teams converge to vie for glory. With two stages completed and six more to go, cyclists face numerous challenges, from gruelling climbs to intense sprints, before the 2024 Tour du Rwanda concludes on Sunday, February 25th.
Table Tennis World Championships
The Table Tennis World Championships are underway, drawing top athletes from across the globe to compete on the world stage. While Africa’s talents have faced hurdles thus far, the tournament’s outcome remains uncertain with plenty of matches remaining before the finals on February 25th.
Sevens Series
In Vancouver, Canada, the HSBC Rugby Sevens Series kicks off from February 23rd to 25th, with South Africa’s Men’s and Women’s teams leading the charge for African representation. Both teams are set to commence their quest for victory on February 23rd.
The New Delhi Marathon
The New Delhi Marathon, known as the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, will see runners from around the world converge on February 25th to compete for top honours in this prestigious event held annually in India.
Wiphold International ITF W50 Events
Tennis fans can anticipate thrilling matches at the Wiphold International ITF W50 Events in Pretoria, featuring 32 Singles qualifying, 32 Singles main draw, and 16 Doubles main draw. The tournament commenced on February 18th and will culminate on February 24th.
Citi Para Swimming World Series
The Citi Para Swimming World Series returns to Oceania from February 23rd to 25th, hosted at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre in Australia. Swimmers from across the globe will converge to showcase their talent and vie for podium finishes.
Napier Sprint Distance
The Napier Sprint Distance event begins on February 24th and concludes on February 25th, bringing together triathletes from around the world to compete in the 2024 Napier World Triathlon Cup. This sprint distance triathlon, featuring a 750m swim, 20km cycle, and 5km run, will take place at Perfume Point and the surrounding area of Napier as part of the Triathlon Festival, including the NZ Sprint Distance Championships.
