As the BAL gears up for its fourth season, excitement is abundant with a record of 48 games set to take place across Pretoria, Cairo, Dakar, and Kigali. This season marks a historic moment as the BAL will host games in South Africa for the first time, highlighting the growing influence and reach of African basketball.

Billy Preston, the American power forward who left an indelible mark on the Tigers’ path, has returned to the Cape Town Tigers for the upcoming BAL season. His contributions were pivotal in propelling the team to new heights, and his legacy continues to inspire the current roster, symbolizing the resilience and determination that define the Tigers’ spirit.

Joining the Tigers’ ranks are players who represent the global diversity of the team. Nkosinathi Sibanyoni, a South African power forward, showcases the club’s investment in homegrown talent with his impressive contributions on both ends of the court.

Samkelo Cele, a versatile guard/forward has quickly established himself as a key player, demonstrating his scoring prowess and playmaking abilities.

Abdoulaye Ndoye, the seasoned center, brings experience and leadership to the Tigers’ line-up, anchoring the team’s defence with his resilience and tenacity.

Cartier Diarra, a dynamic guard from Mali, but born in the United States, adds an electrifying dimension to the Tigers’ backcourt, complementing the team’s diverse skill set and strategic versatility.
