However, the excitement takes an unexpected turn as Dynamo BBC has forfeited their game against Petro de Luanda (Angola) and withdrawn from the 2024 BAL season due to non-compliance with league jersey rules.

The conference continues on Thursday the 14th of March, with Dynamo BBC’s absence felt for their game against the Cape Town Tigers which was scheduled for 16:00 (CAT), followed by Petro de Luanda clashing with FUS de Rabat at 19:00 (CAT).

Saturday sees the Cape Town Tigers challenging Petro de Luanda at 16:00 (CAT) while the void left by Dynamo BBC is palpable as FUS de Rabat secure a free win due to their match scheduled for 19:00 (CAT) being called off.
